BadG TF2

Christmas is here and as some of you already noticed BadGamers TF2 server is back for the holidays!

With the War Update the soldier and the demoman have received extra weapons, equipment and abilities along with some new maps ctf_doublecross + cp_gorge so make sure to check them out.

Also the good people of ye olde Control Point podcast have released yet again one great Christmas Episode full of holiday spirit and tongue-in-cheek TF2 carols so don’t miss this one!

The Sniper vs. Spy update boosted the player amounts nicely but as the summer is getting hotter and hotter the inevitable summer vacation (as seen last summer) has shut the server down. I in behalf of BadGamers TF2 server would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the server and TF2 these past 20 months and hoping you have a nice summer!

The update is going to go live this weekend and in order to maximize the mayhem there is a free TF2 weekend to go with that starting up this thursday so get the game, lock and load and join us on the BadGamers TF2 server!

Just a quick heads-up, the server was updated today as Valve released a fix for several annoyances, one of those undocumented ones being very slow connection to steam cloud and creation of a minidump every time the server was restarted. Cp_junction_final received a update to comply with tournament/stopwatch play and if you have fiddled with your stats and wish to reset those annoying padded ones you may do so by pressing the reset button (the in-game one…)

This was not yet the the Sniper Update announced this month, we are eagerly waiting for the hordes of snipers from down under!
