Shutting Down
The Sniper vs. Spy update boosted the player amounts nicely but as the summer is getting hotter and hotter the inevitable summer vacation (as seen last summer) has shut the server down. I in behalf of BadGamers TF2 server would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the server and TF2 these past 20 months and hoping you have a nice summer!

Are you shutting down the server temporarily for the next week or are you going to turn it off for some longer time?
I sincerely hope the latter is not the case

It’s gonna be a proper break from TF2 this time due to the player basis (incl. myself) getting so thin. Wasn’t really happy with the server performance degrading after some of the larger updates either so would have to move to another box, too.
I’ll keep people posted if I get my TF2 mojo back in the autumn.

Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate hearing from you all. The gamers (all of them good or bad) on the server have really been a dedicated crowd and good sports, truly credit to team!
I’m sad to hear that too, i think we all bound a good comunity from playing on your server and was the most fun and entertaining server i ever playied tf2 on. If you need help with anything, i think we all could help you, you are not alone!
Bawww , i was just gonna get TF2 (retail) in august ! I was really looking forward to playing here again !
Is there any chance the server will be put up again?? i have missed the server from the day it left. and i still wish it was there everytime i play TF2. Badgamers was the first server i played on
and i would play in it to the day i die. (if it were up, which it sadly isen’t /cry )
I did play TF2 at a Halloween LAN party that was held a week ago, had a blast and the game was fun and all but three updates during one week did remind me why I gave it up: the server requires almost daily attention and sadly I don’t have the required time for it anymore.
ahh to bad, i really had a good time playing with people there. i rarely meet them ingame now and it’s only 1-2 of them on each server
(if you don’t like updates there haven’t been any for a month now) xD
Well, Badgamer swill stay in my heart and live on there.

Now it needs some of the good ol’ orange cross maps for the sake of nostalgia (even though I didn’t like those maps) haha
